I'm always writing a story in my head.

When I was little, stories were the stuff of life. My mom would pull my up on her lap and spread out pages filled with colorful pictures and beautiful words. Monsters, lovers, villains, and creatures would walk off the page and encircle me. And they would become a part of my life. I learned about the goodness and darkness in the world, and I learned about the humans in it. The stories pushed into my dreams and into my day and the characters would walk with me. Stories were the lens through which I understood reality. Stories are power. And now I'm writing a few of my own.
